With Cyber Monday behind us, many of the best deals on streaming services are no longer around. That includes Hulu's unbeatable 90% discount. However, there are still several deals available that promise to satisfy your media streaming cravings without putting a dent in your pocket.

Streaming companies have been steadily raising rates for the last few years, so today is a great day to lock in a low price for months or even a year.

At CNET, we regularly review these services for our monthly streaming guides, so we know a good deal when we see one. We've rounded up the best offers available right now and we'll continue to update this page throughout Cyber Week so that you can get the best for less this holiday season.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

Best Cyber Monday streaming deals

Paramount Plus has launched its Cyber Monday deal, and it will be available through Dec. 4. New and returning customers can pay just $3 per month for the first two months on a monthly subscription. Choose from the ad-based Essential plan or ad-free Paramount Plus with Showtime and stream NFL football, Landman, Lioness and upcoming releases like Dexter: Original Sin.

When the two-month discount expires, you will be billed at Paramount Plus' regular monthly rates of $8 for Essential and $13 for Paramount Plus with Showtime.

Fubo is extending its holiday offer through the end of December, so you can sign up for the live TV streaming service and save $30 a month on your first month. The discount applies to three subscriptions: Pro, Elite and Deluxe. Its 60-channel Spanish-language Latino subscription plan is also discounted to $10 for the first month, a savings of $23.

Sling TV is one of our favorite live TV streaming services of 2024, and right now you can try it out for half off. Sling offers two subscriptions, which typically cost $40 a month. Orange, which is focused on sports and family channels, and Blue, which is more news and entertainment-oriented. When you sign up right now, you can get either plan for just $20 for your first month. Or bundle both for just $28.

Did you know you can subscribe to streaming services like Apple TV Plus, Paramount Plus and Max via Prime Video? These add-on subscriptions typically cost the same as they would outside of Prime Video, but you can save on some of them now with Cyber Monday deals.

Prime Video customers can sign up for the following add-ons and get a two-month discount: Paramount Plus, MGM Plus, AMC Plus, Discovery Plus, Crunchyroll, Starz, Hallmark Plus, Cinemax, ViX Premium, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, Acorn TV and more. After the months are up, you'll pay the standard price for the service unless you cancel. The amount you pay for the two months varies -- for MGM Plus, it's $1.75 per month; for Paramount Plus, it's $3 first the first two months -- so head to Prime Video's site if you're curious.

MagellanTV has a huge collection featuring more than 3,000 curated documentaries ready for your next movie marathon. While the annual subscription discount is now out of stock, you can still save on the two-year, and three-year plans. These will run you $60 and $72 respectively. You can also ditch the annual fees and opt for a $135-lifetime subscription as well during this holiday sales event.

More streaming deals: Exclusive membership bonuses

  • Disney Plus: Get a basic plan to Disney Plus for free when you sign up for Spectrum streaming.
  • Peacock: Instacart is offering subscribers a free Peacock Premium subscription as a membership perk when you sign up via the Instacart app.
  • Prime Video: This streaming service with plenty of original shows is included with an Amazon Prime membership. Right now, Prime Video is also offering deals on several add-on channels.

More Cyber Monday streaming deals

  • Starz: New subscribers can get their first month of service from Starz for only $5 a month for three months. Afterwards the price jumps to $11 per month until you cancel.
  • Curiosity Stream: Curiosity Stream delivers documentaries that cover a wide range of topics and right now new subscribers can sign up for a lifetime subscription for $160 at StackSocial.

Additionally, some streaming services offer special discounts for students.

What is the best streaming service?

In our list of the best streaming services, Netflix won the top overall spot. However, the best streaming service will really depend on what type of content you like to watch. For example, families may find that Disney Plus better meets their needs, as it offers a wider variety of children's content alongside teen and adult programming.

What streaming service has the most content?

Sling offers an extensive catalog and, right now, with the on-going Cyber Monday deals, you can get the first month for 50% off. Some of the other services on this list like Starz stick primarily to their own programming, which can make their content libraries a bit smaller. Max merged its HBO Max content and Discover Plus content to widen its own library last year, so it now offers a wider mix of shows and movies.

What's the difference between Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

Black Friday is a shopping holiday that takes place on the Friday after Thanksgiving. It historically placed a larger emphasis on in-store doorbuster deals, while Cyber Monday is primarily an online shopping holiday. Though there has been a major rise in online sales during Black Friday and Cyber Week over the past several years.

Am I locked into a contract if I sign up for one of these Cyber Monday streaming deals?

If you sign up for one of these streaming promotions with a monthly discount offering, you can still cancel at any time. Though canceling early will make you lose out on the promotional pricing if you decide to rejoin later. Of course, if you pay upfront for a full-year, or even a lifetime contract, such as through MagellanTV's lifetime subscription deal, you will have access for the full promotion period.

Is there an Apple TV Plus Cyber Monday deal?

There is not currently an Apple TV Plus Cyber Monday deal. Apple as a company tends to be quite sparing when it comes to discounts, both on its streaming service and its range of tech products.

How did we choose these Cyber Monday deals?

We scoured the available deals to find the streaming service discounts that truly offer a solid value. We've chosen deals from the best streaming services around, and are regularly updating this list as new promotions become available.

Do Cyber Monday streaming service deals actually save you money?

Generally, yes. Many streaming services are offering some really great Cyber Monday deals at the moment, including some offers that can save you up to 90% on monthly plans. The caveat is that many of these deals are exclusive to new subscribers, while others may only last for a few months, rather than the entire year. If you know you want to sign up for a streaming service soon, it may be best to skip free trial offers and instead sign up as a new subscriber while the deals are in full swing.

Is there a Netflix Cyber Monday deal?

Sadly, no. Netflix rarely offers discounts and that applies to Cyber Monday, too. It appears the streaming giant is well aware of its hold on the market and feels as if there is no need to entice new subscribers with price cuts, hoping people will sign up with its standard costs: $7 (standard), $15.50 (standard without ads) and $23 (premium - 4K ultra HD).

Which streaming services usually offer the best Cyber Monday deals?

That's hard to say, as it depends on your preferences. It's worth noting that Netflix hasn't participated in Black Friday or Cyber Monday price cuts previously, while Peacock, Disney, Hulu, Starz, Fubo and more regularly offer holiday savings.
